Location: Pochote de Tambor District of Paquera Canton of Puntarenas Central Pacific Area Nicoya Peninsula Environmental zones: Dry tropical forest, totally peninsular

General characteristics of the land:

• The farm is a small intermontane valley with a river (Quebrada Murcielago) which runs through it and drains into the Pochote Estuary, which is surrounded by mangrove. Its topography is flat, regular and irregular. Soil pH varies between 5.5 and 7.

Natural conditions: 1.8 Km of coast by Murcielago Bay and Colorada Beach, with totally private access. This area has not yet been exploited for tourism. The farm is adjacent to the Curu Wildlife Reserve. This coast has beautiful cliffs and great caves with calcium stalactites and stalagmites. Beautiful view of the Pacific coast. About 1 Km of coast by Ballena Bay, with a white sand beach in front and a view of Playa Tambor. Year-round potable spring water.
